Today, Satoru Iwata of Nintendo just passed away sometime during this evening; many websites confirm that this was due to bile duct cancer (www.cancer.net/cancer-types/bi… ) which he fought for a couple of years. He only lived for 55 years, which is unfortunate considering how he led a special legacy with the world-famous Nintendo DS, which was seen as gimmicky, but actually innovative, or the revolutionary Wii. In addition, he contributed to 117 video game titles throughout his life and made this quote during GDC 2005: "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer."

While he is gone for good, this does not change the fact that for the impact he made for the video game company, he will always be in our hearts.
